Almost all modern applications are now able to deploy java code without having to restart.

With Windchill you still need to restart your server to push a java update, or declare a new listener.

We need to be able to push java code without any restart

PTC has started removing Java from Windchill and will continue to do so.  It doesn't seem like it will matter anymore?

Hello Steve,

I'm talking about Windchill customization java code, not the applet side.

So unless everybody stops all customization it is still necessary

Please PTC, if there is no short plan on this one, can you at least try to contact companies like Jrebel ?

Their solution is partially working with Windchill, if you don't have PSM agent.
