We can not "disable" an equivalence link .
Once an equivalence link was created and even if the equivalence link can be removed from the downstream part. The upstream equivalence indicator still show as obsolete in MPSE ...
So we can not see easily a part realy out of date, from a part that as no more equivalence because we had remove it.
For example:
from an Engineering part, create an equivalence link to a Semi Finished part in the mBOM
due to a change in manufacturing process, we want to use another Semi Finished part
We can remove the 1st equivalence link and add the new one ...
But if we check the 1st semi finished part, the equivalence link is still there and out of date ....
