Be able to extract information/metadata from PVS files in the database.

It would be useful to be able to list and extract metadata out of PVS files.

For example, I would like to list all representation (viewable) with inconsistencies between PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE_STATE and epmdoc_lifeCycleState.

Hi Nicolas,

I am not sure about OOTB capability without customization.

If customization is a valid option for you, either it can be done using Creo View toolkit as James mentioned or you could also develop a server side customization. There is a pvschange.exe (part of Viewable compression utilities) that can convert PVS file into a XML file which contains all necessary information. So using customization, download the file, convert it, read xml and identify any mismatches. May be this helps.
