The fact that the name Quality102 is hard coded for SQL default database names makes it impossible to have many instances pointing on the same database engine.
For instance, having a production and test intance having both a single database and both pointing to the same database engine is impossible.
An option to name the default database in Windchill Quality Solution the way you want should be in the next release.
