Better Creo Drawing Format (.FRM) Administration in Windchill

We now have 399 and counting Creo drawing formats in our Windchill system. ☹️

Ideas to make managing Creo Drawing Formats (.FRM) in Windchill much easier:

• Ability to remove/exclude formats from the Windchill Save As (Workspace and Commonspace) and Move menus by default. This will save time for users from having to remove/exclude the formats every time and as well as reduce accidental format copies.
• Ability to only allow approved Formats names get checked into Windchill or only allow an approved set of users to create Formats. There's a Creo ModelCheck for FORMAT_NAME but it doesn't currently allow no format as an option (we which need before using). A Windchill solution is needed to be able to enforce this during a Windchill Save As.
• Nice to have: ability to replace copied Formats from Windchill without having to open Creo. This would make replacing exact copies of formats much quicker than opening Creo.

@BjoernRueegg Posted pretty much the exact solution PTC should implement for the Windchill Save As for Formats in this related discussion (watch his video). I would suggest for this product idea of having an option to exclude or hide formats from the Save As and Move commands. It would also likely make sense for other commands too like Set State, Rename. If an change would be required of the formats, admins could always disable the settings temporarily.

Someone also mentioned to me a similar idea for Library objects (hardware, etc.). The option to hide, remove, or exclude Library objects by default from the Move, Save, and possibly even hide in Workspaces. This could also help save users time, make things more intuitive for users, and prevent accidental copies.
