In international companies with multiple languages, it is possible to choose the object names for Parts, CAD-Documents and Documents from a dropdown, or with a small customizing from a suggestable value box. To enable this feature the following is xconf property is necessary 

 

<Property name="com.ptc.EnableEnumeratedName" overridable="true" targetFile="codebase/wt.properties" value="true"/>

 

Unfortunately the support for everything else, is not done. E.g. in the new Save As Wizard (developed in WC11.2) the display name is being shown instead a dropdown or even better a suggestable value box.

Please deliver a continuous process with all the different actions: Rename, Save As, Edit Common Attributes. 

Names are important and it makes sense to translate it correctly and this feature is very important for many companies!
