The Product Stucture workbench in CATIA allows a new CAD part to be created and positioned within the active product.
Windchill prevents this feature of CATIA from being used - once a new cad part has been created using the Windchill toolbar it has to be opened, copied, pasted into the assembly, positioned, then closed
Improve the New CAD Document button so it works the same as the tools available in CATIA Product Structure workbench.
