The driven attribute does not auto-populate even if there's only one option in the "then" side of the definition.

 

There could be an option to choose whether the driven attribute should auto-populate or not.

Seems like a helpful idea that would save time for users. It should auto-populate by default if they have to pick that option.

 

We're still on Windchill 11.0 so I haven't gotten to test cascading attributes yet.

  • Is it possible to require a attribute be blank?
  • Is it possible to hide attributes completely if the attribute must be blank or a single choice? Basically, a way to simplify the user interface if they're not allowed to select something different anyways. Your idea above would help regardless.
