When setting an effectivity on a part, you can propagate this effectivity to all the eBOM of this part, using a Change Notice Workflow.

 

But if you want to change the effectivity of this part and propagate this change, you just can ADD new effectivities with propagation, without any impact on previous effectivities.

 

The object of this idea is to allow to change or remove the effectivities of a part, and propagate in mass the change or removal, on whole the eBOM of this part.
