Collector added functionality to reset object

When the Workgroup Manager Collector is used to either Exclude/Reuse/Replace/etc... objects within the table content for the action selected, there is currently no way for a user to set those objects back to their initial status. As an example, during a Save As, If I select an object in the list and set it to be reused, I cannot have it set back to be copied without either me resetting the entire table or canceling the action and redoing it all over again.

Hello.

I agree the usability of Save As UI could be improved; however I am sharing steps on how to resolve your example of copying items that are excluded/reused/removed in Save As UI without reloading/resetting.

Thanks

Jennifer

Steps to set a reused object to be copied without resetting the entire table or canceling the action and redoing it all over again:

Use Case 1:   Simply set for Reuse:

  2. Select the CAD Documents, Parts or Documents that you want to copy
  3. Choose the “Set New Names” toolbar button:JenniferPierron_1-1596606528117.png

    1. Set the values that you want:

    3. Choose OK
  4. JenniferPierron_3-1596606528125.png

Use Case 2:   Excluded

  1. Initial State:

  2. Select the items you want to copy and choose “Include selected objects”JenniferPierron_5-1596606528131.png

  3. Then you will match Use Case 1:

Use Case 3:   Removed

  1. Initial State has mouse_top_sub.asm removed from the collection:

(** Note: these steps are less intuitive)

  1. Set “Dependents” FROM: Required TO:None

  1. Set “Dependents back FROM: None TO: Required

  1. Now you are back at the state in Use Case 1

** Note: Circuit_board.asm and top_level.asm are using the values that were set before.
