Since our application requires that we reside in a "vault", we cannot create a shared folder on the application server from which desktop client users can invoke the application. We need a streamlined means of deploying the desktop client on Users' PC with the ability to easily update these SW packages when PTC issues enhancements to it. Alternatively, we need a virtual desktop solution that avoids using a shared folder AND having to maintain a desktop client on the User's PC. Thirdly, eliminate the desktop client altogether, and allow the web client all the functions and features of the desktop client.
