In a (Full) Part Configuration, you can switch to "Show Occurrences" Display. With the "Override Part Version" functionality, you can exchange singular Part Occurrence Versions. This is used e.g. to document that in a specific "as maintained" configuration, one of many "same" part occurrences has been replaced by a service technician to the latest version of this part. If you execute a "Structure compare" between 2 part configurations, this ignores the overridden occurrences. Thus it is not possible to compare exactly the "as maintained" part configurations.
It would be very helpful if Structure Compare for Part Configurations would reflect the exact part versions on occurrence level.
