Have Windchill have the ability to configure an assembly with Options and Variants without needing Creo Parametric to generate the assemblies.
Current State:
The product structure can be filtered using a Variant Specification but positional changes cannot be updated so the resulting visualization does not look correct. Certain objects especially those that come from a collapsible module will show in their default position.
Future State:
Windchill can determine how components are assembled and can update the position (location) information within the structure of the assembly. Then when the structure is viewed in Creo View, the correct configuration can be seen.
