When using exclusively the Windchill Desktop Integration, if the user accesses a container, this container is not flagged as "Recently Accessed" ( whereas it is taken into account by using the Web interface).
The list of default containers through the Windows Explorer can be modified using a preference in Windchill with following options:
DTI can be found as a great alternative to SharePoint for non-PLM users; however for users using only the DTI to manage Documents, the behavior can be strange which can lead to a bad user experience. The only possible solution for users which are not introduced to the Web Interface will be to select the "All" option however this will result in a waste of time in order to select the right container (can occur several times a day for each user).
Therefore, the objective of this idea is to implement the same way of working between the Web Interface and the Windchill Desktop Integration.
