It can be difficult for users to copy/paste the Number for various objects in Windchill. The most common method is using a click and drag to select, followed by ctrl+c. Often, users will get a leading or trailing white space character, which can lead to errors when pasting into other areas.
This enhancement idea is for a button that would appear next to the Number, in the various Number fields in Windchill. Clicking the button would copy the Number to the user's clipboard.
