Copy-paste WTParts from one product structure to another usage attributes values are not getting copied in Windchill PDMLink

Copy-paste WTParts from one product structure to another usage attributes values are not getting copied in Windchill PDMLink

Possibilty to copy from different product structures to one (new) product structure several wt parts with usage attributes, which are the same in the new product structure.

If we lose the usage attributes values, we have to built up the new product structure more or less manually/part by part with exorbitant additional effort.

We need this for a efficient product structures handling.

yes

but may be 2 seperate actions

-paste with usage attributes

-actual paste without usage attributes

cause in most of reuse use cases , need also to sepcify other quantity or line number ...

This use case is supported in MPMlink in dual structure view from eBOm to mBOM

The functionality works in Product Structure explorer (Java) and the behavior coudl be specified in Preference managemet. (Windchill 10.0 +)

I agree that this behavior should avaiable be in the Product Structure Browser for PDMLink.

This functionality is being worked on for the next Windchill release.

Could you please specify which Windchill release exactly?

Level 12

This will be Windchill 11.0 M020

Any preference to be activated?

Level 12
