If I remember PTC/User presentation , John Deere has made some customization to adress this case. Hope it will be implement OOTB rapidly.
But I don't understand your figure 7. Why the WTpart BOM is not build correctly ? cause this issue is due to the fact that from the WTPart structure tab, the viz is dynamically loaded with occurences position matrix and single translated leaf components (ie without assembly context flexible constraints ... same behaviour for assembly features ...). But the BOM should be OK.
Same need for assembly features (cut , holes, etc ...) or any assembly context contraints that change a part geometry ...
We ran into this problem too. For us this is only an issue if the components are read only in the WS, which of course our publisher set this option...seems like a good logical option right? Well not in PTCs thinking. Changing the config option Regenerate_Read_Only_Objects to yes fixed this for us. Although this seems like a bad idea, after testing it, we ended up doing this for our publisher and for our users. We have not noticed any adverse affects and our CreoView models/dwgs now display correct. Go figure.
