Create a WTPART and choose the revision of the part in the UI.

We cannot choose the revision when we create a WTpart in UI of Windchill ?

E.g. create the part at the revision F

Is possible for CAD documents

OOTB this is availble to choose revision while creating WTPart UI need to make some changes in Type and Attributes

The functionality Shreyas is linking to was implemented in Windchill 10.1 M020 and can be found in the Best Practice topic of the Basic Adminsitration section of the Help Center. It supports both wt.parts and wt.docs.

Hi Scott

I have tried to follow the instrucitons and in the Layout Tab forCreate New there are no available attributes those that are available have been added to a layout group but Revision is not one of them?

You must be logged in as a Site Admin. Go to the Type and Attribute manager, click on the part type you want to change, then pick the Create New Layout from the Layouts menu. You should see the following.

It looks like I only have that option on the Modelled WTPart type but not on any Soft Types further down the tree?

• Changes to a Layout will be inherited to all SubTypes
• To apply changes to only one SubType, create a new Layout on the SubType
