Until now by usage of Windchill Desktop Integration (DIT) new documents can be created directly out of Microsoft Outlook. See also https://www.ptcusercommunity.com/message/440101?et=watches.email.thread#440101. I would like being able to create also other objects, such a Problem Report or Change Request, including all e-mail attachments.
As we receive many request by mail it would support our daily work.

Generally, as the information that enter the business does not generally gets straight into Windchill. There are integration opportunity to ensure that as soon as the company receive change request, product requirements, feedback etc.... it can be put into Windchill as quickly as possible,
I can compare this with IoT. It makes sense that the sensors feeds directly the PLM system. We do not want people to receive such data per email and then copy them into Windchill.,
Same philosophy should apply for any product information.
What about audio file when a customer rings with a requirement ? Ok, sorry I am dreaming.....
