Creo View Adapter - Creo Elements/Direct Modeling & Drafting Worker

Hello Community,

What about enhancing the Creo Elements/Direct Drafting & Modeling Worker infrastructure so that both workers can run in filesync on the same machine? This would save hardware a specially in pure Creo Elements/Direct customers.  According to this Article  it is only possible to combine either Drafting or Modeling with another worker running in filesync.

Hi Thomas,

I think the Creo Elements/Direct workers needs a lot of modifications.

• The one here described is one of them. As descirbed in: configure file synchronized or non file sync worker, based on the document category for WWGM, you also need make sure that the non-file sync workers become available.
• Stability needs to be improved
• The workers should not take a license, but this should be coverdd by the visualisation license

PTC needs to be aware that for all what they are preaching, the viewables, AR, IoT,... are in 99% the starting point. So they should invest the maximum effort in producing them as smooth as possible.
