Creo View Adapter should publish Images embedded in Creo Parametric 3D models using View > Images

Creo View Adapter should publish Images embedded in Creo Parametric 3D models using View > Images

When a Creo Parametric Drawing has Images inserted using Layout > Images with config.pro option “save_texture_with_model" set to "yes", those embedded images are correctly published in the Windchill publisher's resulting drawing PVZ’s.

Similarly, for a Creo Parametric 3D model, Images inserted into the model using View > Images with config.pro option “save_texture_with_model" set to "yes", should also be included in the Windchill publisher's resulting model PVZ’s.

Do you have the publishing machine's config.pro with those options set to yes?

Publishing 3D models do support conversion of textures. Do refer article or help topic for more details.

We opened a case on this C15295908 and were told specifically that embedded Images in Creo Parametric 3D Models using the technique "View > Images" as described above, was not currently supported for PVZ output.  That being said, the older technique of applying textures and decals using the Appearances Manager IS supported, and we've verified that that does work.  Is our Tech Support Specialist mistaken?

my apologies, I have mistaken embedded image with 3D model textures. As tech support clarified it is not supported in creo view output.
