Missing CAS number details-
1. Go to Manufacturer part search
2. Select Search by Material and Substance
3. Enter a valid CAS number value in substance ID text area. The CAS number is not related to any part yet
4. Result displays a blank table
Invalid CAS Number details
1. Go to Manufacturer part search
2. Select Search by Material and Substance
3. Enter a random alphabetic name in substance ID text area.
4. Result displays a blank table
There is no way we can figure out that part is not associated with CAS number or CAS number itself is invalid. General rule for CAS number is 2-7 digits, and all numeric.
