As it's done at article creation a yellow banner should be displayed when the Save as action is performed.
The user has to go to home, wait for the page display to be able to find the new object.
In 10.2 M020, we had a small project to provide a URL link to objects that are created during Save As.
I hope this resolves your request.
Here is a brief description:
- Provide a list of seed objects (those initially selected before entering the Save As UI) that were successfully copied. Provide no message for seed objects that were reused.
- CONFIRMATION: Save As successful
NN objects created successfully including:
[type icon] <identity>
** Note: there should be a hyperlink on identity to the new object’s info page.
- If no seed objects were copied; but other objects were, then Provide a confirmation message that Save As was successful; but don’t list any objects:
CONFIRMATION: Save As successful
NN object(s) created successfully
An alternative is to go the the Save As history on the History tab. But still, a yellow banner would be helpfull.
