Downloading PDFs (Representations) directly from the search results screen.

I'd like to be able to download the PDF representation directly from the search results screen for documents or anything that would have a representation.  I just saw that this functionality exists in 10.1 F000 but only from the Representations screen which means that you have to navigate to the details page first for the document.  The code appears to be there now.  It just needs to be exposed in the Search Results screen.

I'm still hoping for this.  To take it even further, I'd require the ability to do this from a WTPart.  I want to be able to Right Click on the search page AND on the Structure page and download ANY of the "Additional File" representations available via the linked CAD Model and Drawing. 

1. If no drawing exists I want it to say so in the file>(flyout menu). 
2. If the CAD model relation doesn't exist I'd like it to say so as well. 
3. If the drawing or model is linked but it is not published, allow the user to select it and iniate a publish job
4. I want to be able to control access to these files too.
   1. I'd need to be able to give access to these secondary content files even if the user does not have access.
      1. I want a user to be able to go to a WTPart and download the PDF or STEP or IGES.  I don't want them to access or even see the native CAD data to avoid confusion
      2. I want to be able to limit acces only to the WTPart and allow users to simply search and find the Parts they want.  Once found they can download the configured "Additional Files".
      3. All of this without any confusion on whether to search for a WTPart (or explain what this is), CAD Assembly, CAD Part, CAD Drawing.  Just find the WTPart and download the PDF, IGES, STEP etc.  Must be simple for external users and people like purchasing.
      4. Yes this help mimic basic processes from Agile or Arena etc.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're referring to?  I'm not understanding what you mean about downloading the representation.  How can you download it from the details page?

People are mainly using this function to download a PDF that was generated from a publish job? I got that from starting to look at the discussion that was referenced in this Product Idea?  Anything other use cases?

if it's of interest - we have a Windchill add-on called "nexiles.finder", which provides means to download pretty much any content related to a given object.

We have created a simple data utility which can enable the icon available to download PDF as a column in search results which is available for WTPart (representation from Content link to CAD DRW), CAD PRT (representation from Drawing reference link to CAD DRW), CAD DRW (direct representation )
