ECAD WGM: Support of ECAD simultaneous engineering / concurrent design (for instance checkout to shared directory, multiple users working on the same PCB and SCH)

Windchill ECAD Workgroup Manager Enhancement Request:

It should be possible to add (Checkout) an ECAD Schematic design to a Windchill workspace and allow several users working on the same schematic but on different sheets simultaneously.

Large ECAD Schematic projects/sheets are typically developed through several ecad engineers. Typically there are working in parallel on differents ECAD sheets but within the same ECAD Schematic design.

The PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager for Cadence Team Design Option is able to do this today.   In the future we hope to be able to enable this capability with Mentor and Zuken tools but it is heavily dependant upon what the ECAD vendor will allow PTC access to.
