We're seeking to link and/or create dependencies between Change Tasks and Problem Reports, Review Objects, potentially Waivers and Deviations.
4. What is the use case for your organization?
We currently Release at the CT level. That CT Release might close out a Problem Report/Wavier/Deviation. In addition we might want to prevent a CT from closing until an associated Review was held. In any event we would want the ability to link the objects to the CT as a reference.
5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
It would prevent Problem Reports, Waivers, Deviations from staying open longer than needed. Reduce manual effort to make this happen. Would also prevent unnecessary extra change objects on larger changes just to satisfy tool capability. Also prevents us from customizing the system which would cause future headaches on upgrades.
