For smaller customer that does not use the full change management suite of Windchill there is no good tto create change comments for set state and revise like there is in check-in.
It would therefor be beneficial to set comment for set state and revise
We have also struggled with this & believe a comment box should always be optional when carrying out any changes to a document whether it be by user or superuser.
I agree with the above comments. We use change management, but there are times when an administrator must set state. It would be very helpful to be able to include information so everyone can see why the change was made.

Would like also to be able to find these comments via query builder reports.
It would also be very nice to be able to have comments when objects are 'Sent to PDM' from ProjectLink. As of Windchill 11.0 M030 it is not available.
And maybe a way to have the same comment for many objects?
Check-In action has comment. Revise has higher priority to have a comment. I strongly support adding this function.
This request has been around for 4+ years and would be very beneficial to all users.
I realize that the moderator who acknowledged the request is no longer with PTC, but is this still on the radar as being a viable and needed enhancement?
