Enhance Process used for Viewing Previous Revisions of IEs

Make it easier to view a previous revision of an Information Element (IE).  If you could open a previous revision of an IE in Arbortext from the IE's Information Page, like you open the latest version of the IE in Arbortext, it would save a lot of time downloading earlier versions simply to use the Compare feature in Arbortext.

The ability to use Arbortext Editor to compare two versions of an IE is targeted for the December-2016 release.  The user will be able to select the version to compare from a list of available versions.

Yes, the ability to compare two versions is in 7.0 M050.

ACM only provides the Actions > Open In > Open in Arbortext Editor menu option for the latest version of a dynamic document:

 

  Though the Download Content icon  was previously made available by PTC in ACM for any previous version of a dynamic document, the request is to provide the Actions > Open In > Open in Arbortext Editor menu option for all versions.  This enhancement would allow the icon to be removed for any previous version, which users have found to be inefficient.
