When setting a required constraint on a WT-Part attribute, it works fine when you create a single part or multiple parts with the standard wizzards. When creating the WT-Part by auto associate during check in, Windchill creates a WT-Part whitout a value in the required attributes
As far as I have seen there is no easy way to add/enable a extra step in the Creo "Custom Check In" wizzard where the required attributes have to be entered. The required constraint is really meaningless and there is no easy way to enter the attributes.
It's possible to create the WT-Part in advance and in that step create the EPM-Documents. Quite easy to say, but learning this to the engineers who are used to auto associate?
It's also possible to type the attributes for EPM-Documents and set the required constraint there. This will fill up the Creo parameter list with 10 extra parameters
Check out the WT-Part after checked in and enter required attributes. Who will do that?
We need the extra step in the creo Check In wizzard!
