PTC recommend to not use same cache location for Creo and for 3 party CAD

"Cache sharing between a Windchill Workgroup Manager session and Pro/ENGINEER, Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 or Creo Parametric session is NOT supported due to potential compatibility issues"

Today users who use both Creo and ex Solidworks need to use a script to set enviroment variable before starting CAD and workgroupmanager.

My idea is to create a new set of enviroment variable for WWGM.

 

  • PTC_WF_WWGM_ROOT environment
  • PTC_WF_WWGM_CACHE environment
  • PTC_WLD_WWGM_ROOT environment
