The out of the box "TypeAttributeMoveTool" command-line utility allows to copy attribute values from one attribute to another attribute for a type and all its subtypes
Similarly this request is for the classification attributes. For example, a particular classification node” MOTOR, WITH-FLANGE” has “Flange Thickness” attribute and some parts are classified under that node as shown in the snapshot below. Now if we want to delete the “Flange Thickness” attribute and introduce a new attribute “MOTOR Flange thickness”. In this case we need an utility to copy attribute values from the “Flange Thickness” attribute to “MOTOR Flange thickness” for each classified part. Once this utility is executed then the “Flange Thickness” attribute can be deleted.
