Format all Dates / Timestamps etc according to ISO, use only one date format

When using WinDU for example we get folders like this with the dates as names:

But this is not really helpful.

It seems to be some foreign format including month first and omitting the year. Why did someone throw a dice like that?

There are some other examples throughout Windchill where this or other kind of date formats are used.

Please settle on using ONLY ONE date format on all things Windchill. Please refer to ISO 8601 for this.

This would make it really more easy to read and prevent mistakes in understanding.

Totally agree.

At least in all browser pages, one can set the date display format to use international standard for date display.  Pretty much essential for all global companies.  Part of the world interprets "5-6-21" as May 6; the rest of the world interprets as June 5.

Quite a long time ago, we implemented a change per CS74270 (resourceCustomize.rbInfo). https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS74270?language=en&posno=1&q=CS74270&source=search 

Essential to put this customization in place for the target system at each upgrade, so have to document carefully.
