We need a simple solution to make variable display names distinctive on workflow tasks. The variables are organized in logical groups to make it easier for users to make various decisions while completing the task. As outlined in PTC article CS186774, PTC does not support HTML tags in the display names for workflow variables in Windchill PDMLink 10.2. This was simple solution that was allowed in previous Windchill PDMLink versions for changing the display name colors. Since this is considered risky, a possible alternative solution would be to allow dividers in the variables. This will allow us to group variables with headers that belong together on a workflow task and make it easier for users to make various decisions while completing the task. The idea would be something similar to the dividers used for query builder reports.
