When creating a package in Windchill and using the Zip Package functionality to roll the package file content into a deliverable *.zip file, Windchill currently allows a customization approach which will let a Java class provide the content details for a static manifest to be included in the *.zip content.
Customers have asked for several customizations surrounding this feature which usually boil down to being able to do the following:
1) Create a manifest based off an established template (this can be customized now of course in a supported way, but it would be nice to have it OOTB).
2) Generate multiple file types of the same manifest file content (a *.txt file and a *.xls file format for example).
3) Generate multiple manifest file types based off of different templates (a *.txt file and a *.xls file format for example, each containing a different format based on different templates).
