Having a simple and configurable UI for just browsing and showing PLM datas

like an apps on a mobile device UI, or an app for desktop computers, or a simplified UI in the web browser

for the users how only browse and consult PLM datas , without knowing the complexity of windchill (containers, BOM, links,  related doc, stucture filters and config spec)

for example a simple, pre configured search engine , google like or with only some saved search

and a single page with all WTPart info , drawings, CAD , doc

this UI should be configurale by an administrator at the user / group / or org level

to define layouts and search

and to define available filters for BOM structures navigation

for example, for purchase department users, only display the WTpart info with related drawing on a single page

and a filter "view Manufacturing and Released life cycle state"

Hum ... looks like PTC Thingworx Navigate .... 5 years later ....

 I'm still missing somebody in this community which assigns these ideas to some PTC employees which will comment those ideas and mark it (as in the last platform) as implemented, planned etc.

I guess you are right, the idea is implemented in Thingworx Navigate!
