PDMLink provides the possiblity to create Creo Templates in the organisation. Unfortunatly it does'nt provide any possiblities to set Creo to pull these templates.
If I have the templates in the organization I'm not able to set variable like start_model_dir.
The drawing frames have to be checked in to a library.
PTC changed the way new CAD documents are created for all 3rd party CAD systems. They put the new CAD-Document command into the Windchill ribbons. So new CAD-Documents can be created in the CAD-System with the PDMLink Wizard.
The best solution for Creo would be, if all templates (including frames, sheet stamps, etc.) can be saved in the organisation and a user gets the Windchill wizard also from File->New.
So please add the possiblity to switch the File->New Dialog in Creo to use the Windchill Wizard. With this possiblity the users also have to fillout the required attributes. It would help to organize all the different templates to one system.
And please add multilanguage supprt to the wtpub pathes:
German: wtpub://pdmlink/Bibliotheken/Templates/CAD-Documents/Frames
English: wtpub://pdmlink/Libraries/Templates/CAD-Documents/Frames
If a user switch the language, not all pathes must be updated in the config.pro.
Thanks
