Also...to clarify,

You would like the "Download Documents To Compressed File" action to appear as an Action in the Resulting Objects table.  Currently that action appears in the drop-down list on the Search Results table, but not on the Resulting Objects table.

This can probably be achieved by modifying $WT_HOME/codebase/config/actions/custom-actionModels.xml.  There is an example here: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS179661‌.  The example is in regards to the Folder Browser table, not the Resulting Objects table.  But idea is similar.

However, the goal of this idea is to add this action OOTB without the need to customize.  I can see how this idea would be useful.

Interesting idea - can you describe what the download would be doing?  For example would it be better to get to a project?

What is the use case for upload? What would you be uploading to the change?

Sharath , it is a good idea. Can you provide some use cases.

My expectation is you are looking for some thing similar to the workspace in WGM but for documents.

1. Edit/Checkout files to a folder.

2. Checkin all the modified files in to Windchill from the folder.

Users will be happy if they get this features as it will save time.

This will be a good enhancement and our business is requesting the same. Any idea if this is being implemented in any future versions ?
