We have ~250 daily users of Windchill for CAD, product structure, changes and documents. We design and build consumer electronics products. Stakeholders are internal application users and external suppliers.

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
No way to view a document without downloading it first. In a web first world, there should be no reason to require users to download PDF files or Office documents. Anytime a document is available, users should be able to access a preview of the document without downloading it. This would include locations such as the document details page, the part structure page, the document structure page and attachments.
From the part structure page, other items can be added to the display such as CAD and Docs. CAD can be viewed in the integrated visualization panel, but documents cannot. Many users in the business need access to things link spec sheets associated with COTS parts, but are constantly downloading them to get information. It would be much nicer if document preview was an integral capability of Windchill.
