Basically the recalculation duration is dependent upon the No. of parts you have in your system. If you have parts count in lakhs, then surely the application will take time to recalculate the verdicts. This is not the case just for CMRT recalculation, this is the case for all other Compliance specifications in WPA, where in for some recalculation, it may take a month or so, when you have more than 1 million parts in your DB.
