Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS) has limited component stress derating assessment capability for a limited set of electrical stress Derating guidelines.
1. PTC should update the derating guidelines to include such as: NAVSEA SD-18, and MSFC-STD-3012-A, GEIA-STD-0008, and other active documents.
2. PTC should update the Derating capabilities of the tool to address all of the parameters, not just those that contribute to the Reliability prediction. This would include a more comprehensive Derating report. this should still be part of the Prediction tool, but may require it own tab.
3. WQS part libraries should be updated to include part stress rating values for all the related parameters.
This would add value to the tool and reduce user time whole separate assessment worksheets in Excel or equivalent.
