In CreoElementsDirect with WGM, a ModelVersionCompare functionality is available for singular parts. It would be very helpful to a similar functionality also for assemblies. With this functionality, users would be able to compare different assembly versions including different versions of the contained components.
In CreoElementsDirect with ModelManager, it was possible to even load assemblies containing varying versions of child parts into the same CAD session (aka "MultiVersionLoad"). It is understood that this is not compatible with the WGM concept of having only one version of a CAD Document Master in a Workspace at any given time.
The existing functionality for single components works with temporary copies of single parts. A similar functionality for assemblies would of course imply to have a version selector for (sub-)assemblies as well as for multiple child components, where most likely in the background temporary copies of these "multi-version" objects would need to be generated and handled.
Can you please check whether it is possible to provide such a functionality?
