User are able to create viable datasets without CAD objects. A Drawing document may be created from the Described By links on the Related Objects tab of a part. When using the Create New option, the user must manually type the same data into attributes that keep the dataset aligned. Because the system assigns a Number to the document different than the part, the user must use Rename to ensure Number of the document and part match.
Expected Behavior:
When creating new document object under the Described By tab, the shared dataset attributes should be pre-populated from the associated Part object. Administrators should be able to specify which attributes are inherited from the part.
When creating standalone Drawing documents, all attributes will be user assigned.
