All installers should assess disk space requirements prior to executing the installation. Some installations can take hours and if insufficient disk space is available, an error message is returned indicating an aborted install. If the available disk space is assessed against the requirements prior to starting the installation process, this time would not be wasted. If a clearer error message was returned, log files would not need to be submitted to assess the cause of the issue as insufficient disk space.
