It should be possible to search/filter in fields connected to lists (starts with, contains, * sign)

It should be possible to search/filter in fields connected to lists (starts with, contains, * sign)

Currently we are not able to search on the fields connected to lists, only possibility we have is typing in first letters, However this is not useful since the list can contain numbers signs front of the text which we need to filter and select the correct one. IF there are many items in the lists is really time consuming to find the correct item.
