Createopportunity for CREO that load and applies config.pro from Windchill Configuration Administration like Visualization Configuration Administration.
Cool idea! Personally I don't understand why this is not already been implemented. PDM should be the center and should also contains all the different config options, material files, start templates, etc.
This would be a big step forward for an easier manageable environment.
Most of these files can be stored in Windchill, you just need to configure your system to point to the Windchill folders.
This idea MOST be considered only as an option, as lots of smaller companies do not have Windchill and will need to access their configuration files from a local drive.
