We are implementing WindChill as our PLM system one step at a time. We are trying to get the BOM balloons in a drawing to be mapped to Windchill. PTC has a process which uses the Find Number and Line Number attributes in Windchill to map to the component level parameters in an assembly. Since we haven't yet begun with WTParts, we can still make this work at the assembly cad document level. However, the default structure is SEPARATE USES and not MERGE USES. I believe 99%of the time our users will be using MERGE USES. We would like a setting for this to be the default behavior. Per https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS57764, it is not. Thank you.
