I'd like to suggest that the checked out icon and 'checked out to...' tooltip for Managed Collection and subtypes be changed to something else. Something like a lock icon and 'locked by...' tooltip or similar. Left as is, it looks like a bug to the end user. It makes the end user think that Managed Collection acts something like Document and they end up expecting an ‘Undo Checkout’ action.
