Modify Windchill "Welcome to Windchill" page

Need the ability to modify the "Welcome to Windchill" page.  Would like to point it instead to an internal web page to give users updates on upcoming maintenance downtimes, company specific Windchill FAQ's, and other usefull information.  This would be similar functionality to what is currently available for the Creo home page config.pro setting "web_browser_homepage".

To inform users short-term about windchill downtimes a banner would make more sense (see discussion  Re: Modify the “Welcome to Windchill” page? - PTC Community) because the "Do not show this page upon startup" checkbox from the "Welcome to Windchill" page can be checked / unchecked by each user himself.

To modify the "Welcome to Windchill" page the JSP file has to be adapted. But there is no best practice, see https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS58708

This definitely doesn't make sense to do because of that checkbox.

But not only that, if you have a link to something then it would by-pass the home page anyway.
