Description:

Multi-Level Component Report in Product Structure shows incorrect Quantity for child parts  

Multiple occurrences of WTParts in the Product Structure Browser listed as separate objects instead of combining them in the Quantity when added them multiple times.

What we are looking for:

Product Structure Browser should display the combined quantity in BOM report and Product structure instead of same component listed multiple times with different quantities.

OOTB There's 2 differents cognos BOM reports:

- the normal one with each occurence of the usage link

- the "consolidate" one with combined quantities

Anyway

having non consolidated quantities, could be a good things for particular business needs. For example , if the same WTPart , is used with different usage link, and with different line numbers, to identify a particular function. (different manufacturing constraint or MRO  )

we should be able to choose the display mode.

normal (occurence of usagelink)

consolidated (with quantities combined)

The MultiLevel Component report is working correctly for its intent.

If you are looking for different reporting needs this should be a new idea.
