My Notebook. Display object Number in the link and Name

User would like to see the object number in the link path in My Notebook.

Others have also suggested the ability to share data in My Notebook, this would also be helpful if the number was displayed (unique).

An Export would also be helpful to have the object number.

When creating a new Notebook link in Windchill, the user is not allowed to input a name, only choose the notebook folder. When the link is created, it only contains the object's Name, not the Number. This request seeks to add the object's number to the link name when added to the notebook.

Personally, I would add to this request the ability to configure the link names at the site/org/container level and give the user the option to create their own link name in the dialog box.

2. What product & version are you currently running? Windchill PDMLink, Creo, MPMLink, SUMA, etc.

Screen shot was attached. I suggested that the users edit the link in the My Notebook after it has been created and copy in the object Number (4 clicks).

Users would rather have the number captured automatically as we do have some programs (product lines) that user number significants.
4. What is the use case for your organization? Ease of use. We do not have high adoption of this feature. In fact in the 30+ years of using Windchill I have yet to see a company that does use this feature well.
5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization? Adoption of feature.

I agree with Scott, it would be nice to have a system preference for name or number but both would be helpful.
